Staying Classy in a Classic Library

Kali and Lizz with human sized cats, Baker and Taylor
What happens when you give two librarians a collection, space, and philosophy as old as they are? Things change.  Our 30 year old library has a collection desperate for weeding, and a program seeking media literacy guidance.  Slowly the collection is moving from a behemoth full of dated texts to a slightly slimmer, more agile collection. Seminars and classes are working on skills that students need to succeed.  And of course, we are all having fun.  Students and faculty are flocking to the library for information, research, and tech help.  Classes are regularly meeting in the library and working with us.
